Hi there, welcome to philmetcalfe.com.
I like to run this website as a constant work in progress. A place where I can casually disperse thoughts and images I have to share on an irregular basis.
I’m from a small town on the North Island of New Zealand. In this place of quiet serenity I was born, raised, and educated until my early high school years. My family soon packed their bags and moved to the big smoke. It was there I completed school and went on to finish a Commerce degree at University, double majoring in Marketing and Management.
Somewhere in between these series of events I discovered a creative side to my character and learnt to play guitar, dabble with a piano, sing, and eventually record those sounds in unison. Bands were formed, songs were written, and shows were played.
After mastering the aforementioned skills to a level of personal acceptability, my mind drifted to other outlets, mainly photography, travel, and anything digital. I currently spend my days in Melbourne, Australia as a Product Owner at Hooroo.com, a super exciting start up in the travel industry.
I currently use this site to rant about all sorts of stuff and share projects I’m working on.
